MSSAJ Type Strip Armor Joint is an economical design. It provides the benefits of heavy duty joint armouring where timber formwork is used. It consists of 1 or 2 40*10mm edge steels with shear studs. When used, it is fixed to the top of the timber by screw for the duration of the first concrete pour. It will remain in place once timber formwork is removed. Different materials are also available for MSSAJ joints such as plain steel, hot dip galvanized steel and stainless steel. Normally this strip joint is suitable for larger joint opening up to 30mm and ideal for a wide range of internal applications and all vehicle types.
