Limitations
Limited Elastomeric Filler Weatherability
The elastic gel filler has moderate weather resistance. Over time, aging may cause visible cracking between the base and filler under tension, slightly affecting aesthetics. Under compression or stretching, the visible rubber strips may bulge or sink, creating slight unevenness — more noticeable with wider strips required for larger movements.
Lower Durability Compared to Metal
Rubber components have a shorter service life than metal alternatives and may require replacement after several years of use.
