As we mentioned in last article,

http://msbxf.com/Roof-Expansion-Joint-Cover-waterproofing-what-you-must-know-id540163.html What shall we do if i have finished the installation of the expasnion joint covers?

We know that water proofing beam is very important.

But if we already finished the installtion of ejc, we must comfirm the situation at site. If it's a rainy area and much water will gather in this area, the expansion joint cover has to be removed and the installtion has to went back to the waterproofing beam. Because this is the basic probelm and to avoid more mistake ,this work has to be finished.

If there is hardly rain and little water in this area. there is another solution which is the drainage channel.

It's bottom is stainless steel channel, and covered with EPDM water barrier. Two barrier to let water flow to the drainage. This model is what we have improved which can be fixed at the bottom of the ceiling beam.

Another important point is the water barrer. The end of the water barrier must be handeled well and put into the drainage. That's how the water will go but not gather in the water barrier. And if water gathers in the water barrier, at last the water barrier will be broken.
